Pictures from our place...

Our New Zealand home is a flat (a house shared with five other people) in room with a total area of 11 square meters. Within our room we have a full size fridge/freezer combo, a dresser, a wardrobe, a small table and a double bed. The door to our room opens into the kitchen, but we also have one large window and French doors that open out onto the backyard patio. The window and French doors have thick heavy-duty, burnt orange curtains which aren't the most attractive to look at, but as there is no central heating New Zealand they are very nice for insulation at night when it can get a bit chilly.

Ahhhh domesticity!
Kiara must be someone very special! We spent all those years feeding Mr. C and never realized that he could cook for himself. GREAT PHOTOS again guys. It is surely a beautiful setting and wonderful experience. How did the pavlova taste? Are those my favorite cookies? Or, are they going to become my favorite cookies? Thanks for phoning a few days ago, Caleb.
Take good care of each other.
Love to you both,
Tom/Dad

I actually posted today's comment to the Botanical Gardens segment, so you'll want to travel back that-a-way to catch it. I love this latest offering, too, bigtime.

This seems like the logical place to ask about how your classes are going (no pictures that show either of you studying). Oh, I'm sure you'll be interested that Maren scored over 8 on all her events last Sat., for a total of almost 34, a big personal best for her, 2nd on her team. So she qualifies for Level 6 now, although it's not a guarantee. The meet was out of town, so we didn't see her, but I'm hoping that Brad has some good movie footage to show us. Just 2 days 'til your mom and Barbi come here, Kiara; I'm still hoping to hook up with you and Caleb on Skype; Burna will know how better than I. Keep up all of your good work! Love, Gr. Barb

I have a severe case of envy for your superb backyard flowers! Your domestic life looks quite appealing as well. These photos truly help convey what your daily life is like. Thanks!

Any time for studying????

Blessings,
Mom

Hi Caleb and Kiara,
I sure have enjoyed looking at your photos and reading about what a wonderful trip you are having. Sure beats waiting until July to find out what it was like.
